Inventory management
Inventory management software that knows where every box is.
Stock in, stock out, between warehouses and written off, all on one record. Quantity and value move together, so your stock report and your accounts always agree.
- Several warehouses
- Batches, serials and expiry
- FIFO or weighted average
- Counts on a phone
Does your stock look like this?
be honestThe system says 40. The shelf says 31.
Nobody knows which is right, so someone counts by hand and the books get a guess.
Stock value is a year-end guess.
The accounts carry one number for stock, and nobody can say where it came from when the auditor asks.
A batch expires on the shelf.
Or worse, it goes out in an order, because the date was on a label and not in the system.
Inventory you can trust: follow 100 boxes of stock.
100 boxes arrive from the supplier. They are counted once, into the main warehouse.

More than counting boxes.
What happens around every movement, so the count stays right.
Inventory questions people ask us.
What is inventory management software?
Software that records what stock you have, where it is, what it is worth, and every movement that changed those answers. In PrimoERP it shares one system with purchase, sales and your accounts, so a stock move is also an accounting entry.
Can I run more than one warehouse?
Yes. Each warehouse belongs to a company and a branch: a main store, a shop or a site store. Stock moves between them with a transfer, and each one shows what it holds.
Which valuation methods does it support?
FIFO, weighted average and standard cost, chosen for each item category. Choose before your first stock movement: once stock has moved, the method stays, so past values never change.
Can I stop stock going negative?
Yes. An issue that would take stock below zero is refused. If your business needs it, you can allow negative stock down to a limit you set.
Does it track batches and expiry dates?
Yes, for the items that need it. A watchlist shows batches close to expiry, and you can block expired stock from going out at all, with no override.
How do we bring in our opening stock?
From a spreadsheet, with a quantity and a value on each line. Every line is checked first, and the stock goes in all at once or not at all, so the stock report and your books never disagree.
